Michael Maledon is the President of Elway Powersports, where he has led the company’s expansion to five rooftops representing 19 leading franchises since launching the venture in 2021.

He joined the Elway Dealership Group as a partner in 2017 after serving as a senior executive with the Van Tuyl Group, then the nation’s largest privately owned auto retailer with more than 100 franchises.

Before his tenure at Van Tuyl, Michael practiced law specializing in mergers and acquisitions. His career also includes investment and advisory roles in several automotive technology ventures, and in 2014 he was recognized as a semifinalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

Michael earned a business degree from the University of Arizona and graduated with top honors from the University of Notre Dame Law School.
