When forming the NPDA, the Board of Directors sought the advice of industry experts and advisors to create the best organization for serving the needs of franchised and independent Powersports dealers.
One important outcome from this valuable guidance was that the NPDA should have the ability to form Councils designed to focus on specific purposes or subgroups of members of the association:
Harley-Davidson Dealer Council
While all brands of Powersports are welcome in the NPDA, this Council addresses the unique needs and interests of Harley-Davidson Dealers.
H-D Council members include:
Chairman: George Gatto - Three Rivers Harley-Davidson (Pennsylvania)
Chad Clark - Battleship Harley-Davidson and Sheldon's Harley-Davidson (Massachusetts); Hartford Harley-Davidson and Old School Harley-Davidson (Connecticut); Spitzie's Harley-Davidson (New York)

A message from H-D Dealer Council Chairman George Gatto:
“When I first heard about the NPDA being formed I jumped at the opportunity to get involved. How can our industry not have a national dealer organization when every other industry has one or more? We do now and it is growing quickly – but we need you in order to be successful!
We are working on many initiatives, including a Harley-Davidson Dealer gathering as part of the AIMExpo in Las Vegas Feb 15-17, 2023. The AIMExpo, put on by the Motorcycle Industry Council, will be a great opportunity for you to meet other dealers and gain great industry insight through aftermarket product displays, industry speakers and education programming. What happens in Vegas can help your Harley-Davidson dealership!
